Stuart Nickerson with his daughter(Jennifer Nickerson) and his son-in-law(Liam Ahearn) founded Tipperary Boutique Distillery Limited in 2014.  

Stuart has spent over 40 years working with Scotland’s most famous whiskies and now specialist in providing technical advice to start-up distilleries. 

Jennifer is the Managing Director. She grew up living beside many of the Scottish distilleries which her father managed and is passionate about whiskey. 

The land at Ballindoney, where the distillery is located, has been farmed by Liam’s family for over 200 years. And they produced their best whiskey by using their own farm barley and the pure water from the land at Ballindoney Farm.
