Only 6,000 bottles of this impressive Oloroso Sherry Cask Finish edition has been created by the careful selection of hand-picked Sherry butts. A limited quantity of Glencadam was transferred from Bourbon casks into the rare Sherry butts to “finish” the maturation for a number of years. This process of “finishing” imparts to the whisky enriched characteristics, most notably, tones of Sherry sweetness. The time was right to bottle the whisky at 19 years of age when the malt whisky flavour notes had reached perfect harmony with the sweet attributes of the Oloroso Sherry wood. The result is a beautifully crafted Glencadam Single Malt expression.

Color :
Ripe golden barley.

Nose :
Sophisticated pot-pourri of floral malt, raisiny fruit cake with Sherry notes merging with mocha chocolate and crushed walnuts.

Palate :
Mature barley-malt elements are balanced by the rich flavours of fruit cake, mixed nuts and raisins gently drying to embrace some cigar box spiciness.

Finish :
Wonderfully complex and sumptuous.
