Tomintoul is a smooth whisky born in the wild and stunning environment of the Cairngorms National Park, situated in the Highlands of Scotland. The high altitude, fresh mountain air and spring water combine to create a sweet and complex whisky that is truly wild in nature yet gentle in spirit.

High in the Cairngorms sits a freshwater loch called Loch A'an, the source of the River A'an, which flows majestically by Tomintoul Distillery on its meandering journey to join the River Spey and onwards towards the North Sea.

Nose : Elegant and fruity with aromas of cooked apples, sweet spices, vanilla sponge cake and sultana.

Palate : Creamy and textured with layers of tinned apricots, creme anglais, amaretto biscuits, rice pudding and beeswax bound with cigar box spices.

Finish : Warming and sweet with notes of nutmeg, butter pastry, heather honey and vanilla toffee.
