Tomintoul 45 Year Old 1973, 44.5% abv
The single malt was aged for more than three decades in white oak American casks before being further matured in oloroso Sherry casks.
The whisky is said to have aromas of orange citrus and Christmas pudding, leading to nuts, chocolate, mocha coffee bean and spicy oak tannins on the palate, with a dry and spicy finish.
Only 218 bottles were released worldwide.
