A friend and collaborator of Quaich Bar, this series was inspired by his unrelenting spirit and talent for discovering, selecting, and identifying whisky’s hidden potential. We are delighted to pass these onto you, to share with your friends and loved ones.

Frankly Speaking…

This whisky proves how good a well-aged grain can be. Loads of sweet and spicy notes. An after-dinner drink to rival a good brandy or cognac. Well balanced with a variety of flavours coming together to give a fantastic dram. This is one that I love to savour, relaxing in front of a fire fueled by a mixture of peat and wood.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Spicy toffee and notes of ripe caramelised bananas, rich milk chocolate and dried coconut.

Taste: Smooth and creamy, coconut, honey, maple syrup, ripe sweet fruit, vanilla and almonds.

Finish: Long with the fruity and toffee sweet notes continuing to dominate.
