Frankly Speaking…

The sherry notes coming through in this whisky remind me of happy days selecting fresh sherry casks in Spain. This single cask from Speyside distillery, is a typical sherried Speyside style whisky. Not overly sherried, which allows the flavours of the whisky to come through, with just the right balance.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Plums, ripe cherries, milk chocolates.

Taste: Sweet and soft sherry notes, orange and marzipan.

Finish: Rum and raisin ice cream with a light and bitter note.
