Created by the Master Distiller, Glencadam Reserva Andalucia is made from carefully selected exceptional sherry and bourbon casks. These casks have been expertly married then finished in Oloroso Sherry butts specially sourced from Andalucia, Spain. Finishing helps the whisky to develop refined characteristics, which give more depth, complexity and flavour. The time was right to bottle the whisky when the malt whisky flavour notes had reached perfect harmony with the subtle Sherry tones.

Andalucia is the Spanish region famous for producing sherry, centered around the ancient town of Jerez. Glencadam works with a small number of bodegas from Jerez to select only the very best Oloroso Sherry butts from the maturation of Glencadam Single Malt.

Nose :
Initial aromas of ripe soft fruits, soft nougat and oaky vanilla with a background of freshly made fudge.

Palate :
Smooth and creamy with sultanas, orchard fruits and toffee apple sweetness.

Finish :
Long lasting and silky smooth with honey, muscovado sugar and green tea lingering on the tongue.
