Batch 3 of our annual cask strength release offers yet another bold and distinctive take on Lochlea. The master blender has carefully selected a combination of Oloroso Sherry Butts and Ex-Islay Peated Casks, creating a whisky that balances richness and dept with a surprising twist of smoke.

Nose: It opens with juicy, ripe red fruits, and savoury BBQ smoke.

Palate: Cherries, ripe berries, and dark molasses are lifted by a warming ginger cake, toasted rye, and charred wood smoke.

Finish: Is long and complect, with baking spices, salty smoke, and oaky tannins intertwining with delicate floral notes of red roses.
