A Single Cask of 233 bottles, this 1993 Ledaig was hand-chosen by Frank to be the first in a series of bottlings called “The Island Treasures”.

Nose: Very fruity, mostly ripe peaches and tropical fruits

Taste: Loads of soft fruity flavours and very sweet, marzipan, vanilla cream, coconut

Finish: Slightly dry but this does not take away from the overall sweetness.

“A very good whisky but for a Ledaig it has little flavour of smoke both on the nose and taste. I think that the older a peaty whisky is, the more it will lose the smoky flavours and this whisky proves that theory” – Frank McHardy
