Located in the picturesque southwest of Scotland, Girvan Distillery produces grain spirit from wheat.
This whisky has been matured in a refill Bourbon barrel, embodying the distinctive character of a well-aged grain. Girvan is used in the Grants and Claymore blends. Bottled at cask strength, it boasts an impressive 46.5% abv.

Nose : Lots of creamy and vanilla notes, honeycomb ice cream, slight fruitiness and a faint trace of ginger spice.
Taste : Vanilla dominates but butterscotch, mandarin oranges and caramel notes are also present.
Finish : Long finish with fruit dominating and complimented by sugared almonds and vanilla.
