Tomintoul Amarone Wine Cask Finish

Our Master Distiller, Robert Fleming, created this small batch bottling by specially selecting Tomintoul aged in exceptional ex-bourbon American oak casks, which are then married & finished in hand selected Amarone wine barrels sourced from Italy.

The process of ‘finishing’ creates a beautifully rich, complex & full flavoured single malt scotch whisky..

Nose: Inviting aromas of cherry crumble, sultanas and baking spices with hints of oatmeal flapjacks and cocoa.

Palate: Layers of summer fruit pudding, raspberry coulis, ginger biscuits and salted caramel with creamy panna cotta and cedar spices.

Finish: Warming impressions of honey and raisin porridge, pink peppercorn and chocolate cherry liqueurs lingering long on the tongue.
