A 30 year old is a blended malt bottled by the owners of the Springbank Distillery, J & A Mitchell & Sons. The blend consists of about 45% of the 25-year-old Campbeltown Loch that was allowed to mature further. The blend was made up of 1964 Springbank, 1977 Ardmore, 1977 North Port, 1978 Tomatin, 1977 Imperial, 1975 Glen Garioch, 1976 Ardbeg and 1975 Glen Grant. 30-year-old Girvan grain whisky was added to complete this blend. Some pretty amazing whiskies from Scotland’s celebrated distilleries. Bottled in 2008 at 40% ABV.
