This is a limited 2009 edition of a 12 year old Tomintoul, finished in oloroso sherry casks. Only 13,445 bottles have been released.

The Tomintoul Single Malt Whisky is a testament to our master distiller, Robert Fleming, whose family has been making whisky in the Speyside Glenlivet region for four generations.

He has carefully selected single malt distilled in 2009 and matured initially in exceptional ex-bourbon American oak casks. The single malt in these casks has been expertly married then finished in the finest Oloroso Sherry butts sourced from Anadalucia, Spain. The Oloroso Sherry butts perfectly complement Tomintoul Single Malt imparting rich fruity flavours, which enhance the character and complexity of our whisky.

Nose :
Rich and fruity with pronounced aromas of brittle toffee, dried fruits, milk chocolate and baking spices.

Palate :
Sweet and silky with layers of coffee cake, sultanas and mocha mingled with toasted walnuts and candied cloves.

Finish :
Nutty and warming with notes of maple syrup, coffee grounds and warm pecan pie.
